May 3rd, 2020 by Athens Justice Talks

This week, we had an awesome conversation with Judge Rashida Oliver, Municipal Court of East Point, and Judge Ryan Hope, Municipal Court of Athens-Clarke County. These judges serve in two of Georgia’s highest volume courts. They share with us the constitutional, legal, and practical issues they face with moving into the “quasi-virtual world” created by the COVID-19 pandemic.  What a joy it was to hear how they are protecting the safety of employees and litigants while still addressing their dockets!
